There are three different types of memberships
1. Regular Membership – open to persons
18 years or older who are residents of the Greater San
Diego area, in good standing with the American Kennel
Club and are interested in the Cavalier King Charles
Spaniel.
2. Junior Membership – Junior Membership
- open to Children under 18years of age who are
interested in the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, who are
in good standing with the American Kennel Club and who
display a sincere and continuing interest in bettering
the breed. Junior Members may apply for Regular
Membership after having been an Associate Member for one
year or more and are 18 years or older and are in good
standing with the CKCSCGSD. All Junior Members must
have a parent or legal guardian as a member in good
standing with the CKCSCGSD. All Junior Members shall be
entitled to all privileges of the Club except that they
shall not be permitted to vote, hold office, or be
counted in a quorum.
3. Associate Membership- Entitled to all
club privileges except voting, Breeder Referral and
office holding. For members interested in pet functions
only and residents outside of San Diego County. After
one year of membership as an associate member (in good
standing), said member may apply for regular membership,
approved by the board and then voted on by the general
membership. If said member wishes to remain an Associate
Member they may do so without going through the
re-application process.
Prospective new members must be
sponsored by two members in good standing and must
attend two meetings and/or events within 12 consecutive
months prior to acceptance by
the board and our membership. Members must follow and
support the club's Code of ethics, our Constitution and
By-Laws.

Right click on either of the above links,

Dues paid by new members, voted and
approved in November, will not need to pay additional
dues until the following calendar year.
Educational programs are presented
at our bi-monthly meetings covering specific and
general topics of interest. For a look at our

“How Cavalier are you about your Cavalier” at our July
meetings.
Past Speakers
Our newsletter "Puppy Prints" is
published six times a year and sent to all members.
"Puppy Prints" contains club news, informative messages,
health issues, club events, show news, meeting minutes
and other assorted information.
