-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hitting the road with “Rover” has gone upscale. Now you can share Southern California’s celebrity lifestyle with your furry friend. The days of staying at substandard hotels and dining at drive-thru’s when traveling with the family pet are over. Instead, your pooch can enjoy mutt massages, doting pet sitters and pampered puppy menus — all the norm in SoCal!

The 69 marvelous hotels, 55 fine bistros, 56 fun-in-the-sun activities and 38 trendy shops in this book welcome you and your hairy-heartthrob with open arms. Hotel pet fees are more cost effective than leaving Fido at home, and several let pups stay for free. Even better, food bowls and a cushy dog bed are usually included.

Detailed reviews, websites, Fido-friendliness ratings, costs and maps make this guide a must-have for pet-toting travelers who want everyone in the family to have a blissful luxury vacation!
